One-on-One sessions can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly. It’s about developing a plan that works for you. We may come up with a home program for you to complete and then check in once a month to see how you are going and if we need to change or adapt anything. In short, it needs to be a programme that is both time and cost effective.

One-on-One sessions are also the place we start if you are interested in coming to a small group class. This is so we can complete an initial assessment to go through your history and level of ability to mitigate injury and target your specific needs, even in the group setting.

At each meeting, we will establish what you want out of the session, being flexible to change every step of the way as your goals change and fitness levels improve. We can work with you in the gym or within our fully-equiped studio in Mullumbimby, NSW.

IS THERE A GAP AMOUNT TO PAY WITH A MEDICARE REFERRAL?

Yes, $40 is the gap payment, which will be processed through the HICAPS system at the time of your session.

IS THERE A GAP AMOUNT TO PAY WITH PRIVATE HEALTH COVER?

This depends of the level of Extras Cover you have. Contact your private health insurer for details and at the time of payment so you will simply pay the gap fee.

CAN I PAY BY CREDIT CARD?

Yes, EFTPOS is available.

what should i bring to a session or A class?

Bring a towel and water bottle, wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear (walk or gym shoe, or just socks).

CAN I CONTACT YOU IF ANYTHING COMES UP AFTER MY CLASS OR SESSION?

Yes, if there are any adverse symptoms that occur after our session or you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE STUDIO?

Yes, parking is available at the property.

 

where do you fit into the rehabilitation stages of therapy?

The first thing to do when treating your injury is to see a physiotherapist who will work with the soft tissue injury and facilitate your pain management. Once the contraction in your muscles that causes the pain is relieved, we will work on reactivating and strengthening your muscles.

We work in a holistic way in conjunction with your other allied health professionals, including doctors and psychologists to develop the right exercise prescriptions that gently move you little by little back to health and strength.
